Thinking Vitality - Think C.O.W.S.

There is an old esoteric adage that state's…

"Through physical crisis comes the awakening of the soul".

With that in mind, there is nothing so potent for creating a change in one's attitude and behaviour than experiencing the concern that one may well be leaving the planet due to the effects of ill health.

So how does one turn the tide on health or ill health?

Not by the eating of cows, but by the thinking of C.O.W.S.

To build up any level of strength in the body, be it physical, mental or spiritual, one must not think of the muscle or the brain in the first instance. Firstly, one must think to the very nature of what builds these aspects.

What builds these aspects?

It is blood that builds these aspects. As another esoteric adage states, "Blood is Life". To support and maintain a healthy vibrant body, you first need to build healthy and vibrant blood. Blood is the building block for every cell in the human body, including muscle cells.

How do you build and maintain healthy and vibrant blood?

You need to create an alkaline, nutrient-rich environment within the blood. And to create this alkaline nutrient-rich environment, you need to feed your body with some of mother natures simple ingredients.

Chlorophyll, oil, water and salt. This blood building recipe is called "C.O.W.S."

C = chlorophyll from green grasses, veggies, leafy greens and fruits

O = oils from nuts, seeds and fruit i.e. sesame, flax, hemp, olive, avocado, coconut etc.

W = water that has been purified. Fresh from the sky or ground is best

S = salt that is unprocessed and even better, in a colloidal form i.e. sea water

What about protein?

Well as little as it is known, all this talk about vegetable diets being protein deficient is superfluous when you have knowledge and understanding that there is only ONE KINGDOM in nature that can create protein. And it is not the animal kingdom, it's not the human kingdom and it's not the mineral kingdom.

It's the vegetable kingdom!

For you to get your protein, you either have to eat of the vegetable  kingdom: nuts, seeds (which are then turned into grain), veggie's, fruit etc. or eat of the animal kingdom, that has eaten of the vegetable. Understand this... if ONLY the vegetable kingdom can truly make protein, then the protein derived from the vegetable kingdom is the primary source of protein in nature.  Protein derived from eating of the animal kingdom is secondary in nature.

Which leads us back to the blood.

Chlorophyll.

Let's have a little look at the chlorophyll bit… Chlorophyll comes from guess where? Yep, that's right - the vegetable kingdom. Green foods are some of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Take for example the strongest living beings on the planet. Elephants, horses, bulls, hippo's, rhino's etc. are all practicing chlorophyll eaters, and they possess the most awesome physical strength and have the ability to maintain optimum weight on this "green food".  Unfortunately for most people, they don't eat enough fresh "greens" - much less take the time to juice them and as a direct result of this lack of action they rarely experience their body's full strength potential.

Greens infuse your body with easily absorbed water (H2O), vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fibre, chlorophyll, enzymes, phyto-nutrients and alkaline minerals that help to neutralise acids in the blood and tissues. Green grasses are some of the most alkalising foods on the planet.

Greens are very rich in chlorophyll, which is often called "Nature's Green Blood". And green blood is very similar to red blood. And get this!!! The molecular structure of chlorophyll is the same as human blood with the exception of the centre atom, which is magnesium rather than iron. Your body has the ability to convert the centre atom of chlorophyll with iron to form and build the blood.

Chlorophyll helps the blood cells deliver oxygen throughout the body and greens are a plentiful source of the enzymes that are needed for just about every chemical activity in your body.

How do you get a modern day dose of this stuff called chlorophyll?

By juicing greens!!!

There is almost nothing on the planet that can calm, energise, alkalise and heal your body better than green juice can. For a potent Green Juice Recipe using easily found green ingredients... click here.

What sort of juicer should I use?

Use a juicer that works by slow rotation. This make of juicer squeezes the goodness out of the plants fleshy fibre.  Juicers that work on the principle of spinning at high RPM consume varying amounts of the goodness from your juice. Why???

Just think of the third cosmic fire… "Fire by Friction".

What happens when you rub your hands together? That's right they get hot. And what does hot need to maintain its heat. Yep, you got it… fuel!!!

And that fuel is the nutrients and goodies that are contained within the fruit or vegetable. That same heat that is generated by the 'force of friction' is also burning and using up the negative hydrogen ions that are so necessary for cellular hydration and maintaining a negative charge within the small intestine so you can absorb your nutrients.

That's right... your foods nutrients are going up in flames (friction) right before your eyes.

Believe it… you will be doing the best thing for your body when you use slow rotation juicers.

Oils.

The “Good Oils”...

Eat oils to lose fat.

Oils and fats are the most concentrated source of energy used by the body! Healthy oils... healthy fats, that is. Good fats are monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. These fats come from the vegetable kingdom, seeds, e.g. linseed, olive and  peanut oil, cold pressed oils, coconut oils, avocados, nut products (the all natural cashew, almond and brazil butter tastes good) and soy-based foods. Soy-based foods also contain the omega-3 fats.

These fats are necessary to your body for a variety of vital reasons: regulating hormonal production, improving immune function, lowering  total cholesterol, lubricating joints, and providing the basics for healthy hair, nails and skin.

The bottom line is to be vibrant and vital the body needs good fats, and it will suffer if it is not provided them.

The “not-so-good” fats.

The not-so-good fats are saturated fats and trans fats that stay hard at room temperature and are primarily derived from animal sources or are man-made.

Saturated Fats:  These are fats that stay hard at room temperature, and are mostly sourced from eating animals and animal products. You find them in meat, whole-milk products, poultry skin, and egg yolks. Coconut oil also has a high amount of saturated fat (VERY HANDY IF YOU NEED TO PUT ON WEIGHT).

Trans-Fats:  These are man-made fats, and are produced through hydrogenation, that is, heating oils in the presence of oxygen. Many products found on the supermarket shelf contain trans-fats, because the fats help them maintain a longer shelf life. Margarine contains high levels of trans-fats.
Unfortunately there is no law that says product manufacturers must tell you how much trans-fats their products contain, but you can find out if it’s in the product by looking at the ingredients list.

“Knowledge is King”!!! If the ingredients contain hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated oils, then it contains trans-fats. If we, the consumer, voice our opinion, and do not buy these products, the manufacturers of these products will suffer a financial loss and change their ways, or go broke.

Water.

Drink plenty of clean, fresh water.

Yep, you’ve heard this one before, over and over again.  And there’s good reason for this – it’s one of the grandest of truths!  For efficient circulation of nourishment, the recommended amount is approximately eight glasses, or about 2 litres of water every day.

Let me say a few words about water.

Clean, fresh water - there is no other nutrient that compares. And contrary to popular belief, water is the ultimate nutrient.

It accounts for approximately two-thirds of the physical body’s weight and it is water’s responsibility to be involved in nearly all of the bodily processes. Just as it is your responsibility, living in the body, to drink water, and allow these processes to proceed, on their way.

Responsibility  - to be in response to ones abilities!

Remember sluggishness and hydration?  This huge list of processes that water is responsible for includes…

    • Circulation

    • Digestion

    • Absorption

    • Excretion

…and water is the Number One transporter of nutrients throughout the body.

Include in this list maintaining the body’s temperature, all of the building and repairing functions and remember excretion. Water also carries all of the waste  material out of the body.

Can you truly fathom how vitally important hydration (hydrogen and  oxygen) is for building a fit and powerful body?

Salt.

Keep your salt levels up.

Yes you heard me, keep your salt levels UP! But there is a catch.

When you do use salt, use ONLY unrefined rock salt or sea-salt. Sea salt contain over 80 mineral elements and some of these elements the body needs in trace amounts. Unrefined sea salt is the best choice of salt for you and your family.  Ordinary refined table salt has been efficiently stripped of its companion elements and quite possibly contains additive elements (whose long term effects on vitality are not known) such as aluminum silicate used to keep it powdery and porous.

We seem to forget that aluminum has been implicated as a possible catalyst to many a dis-eased state. It has been noted that this metallic element can have a very toxic effect on the nervous system.

This is good news for all of us who rebutted the theory that limiting your intake of salt is how to maintain the health of the body. Salt as a whole is not the culprit. It’s man’s intervention and the refining process’ we put some salt through that tends to lead to problems. Recent studies are now showing that high blood pressure can be lowered and prevented by consuming a diet high in calcium and surprisingly, a diet high in unrefined salt.

In his book, "Water: Rx for a Healthier Pain-Free Life", a Dr Batmanghelidj’s states, “salt is vital for preventing and reducing a double chin. When the body is short of salt, it means the body really is short of water. The salivary glands sense the salt shortage and are obliged to produce more saliva to lubricate the act of chewing and swallowing and also to supply the stomach with water that it needs for breaking down foods.

Circulation to the salivary glands increases and the blood vessels become "leaky" in order to supply the glands with water to manufacture saliva. The "leakiness" spills beyond the area of the glands themselves, causing increased bulk under the skin of the chin, the cheeks and into the neck”.

Salt is the catalyst of electron transport.  It is what keeps your heart beating and energy flowing to every anatomical element that makes up every cell.

And ponder on this.

What's the biggest battery on the planet?

Answer... it's a trick question because the answer is the planet. We live on a great big living battery. And what covers this great big living battery? That's right... salt water. Unprocessed, natural salt in a colloidal form. The best salt in the world is, sea salt!

How much salt would I recommend?

At least 1 gram of salt for every 5 kilos or 10 pounds of weight.

So when you're thinking rejuvenation and vitality, don't eat the cows... THINK C.O.W.S.
